In our society today there are many single parent families for a variety of reasons. Whether it be because of divorce, seperation, children born into an unwed situation and/or even through the death of a spouse. What we do realize,however, whatever the case may be, is that these people need to be reached and restored.

Our desire at SPFM is to:

Offer support to families in time of crisis.
Provide individual councelling
Provide support groups in order to deal with the various issues that single parents face.

But of all the services we wish to provide, the greatest would be to introduce these hurting people to the Lord Jesus Christ. And let them know that they need never feel alone and helpless again; that there is someone who cares for them regardless of their situation or status.

The Bible states clearly that God is the "Father to the fatherless, defender of widows and that God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy."
