THE PIONEERS

Antonio DiBiase was elected as pastor in 1937 by the church, which by this time numbered around 300 members. The Church went through some difficult times, nevertheless, the Lord continued to graciously add new souls.  Eventually with the passing of time , the church returned to a state of stability.

Alberico DeVito was called and elected as pastor of the church in 1953 and the Lord again continued to bless His people. Many new souls were added to the Kingdom so much so that it became necessary to enlarge the facilities.  He remained pastor of F.S.P.C until 1969 when the Lord called him develop a mission in Europe.

Mario Spiridigliozzi followed and was elected pastor in 1970. The church by now was mainly comprised of third generation Italians. The years, which followed, were years of revival and growth and again it became necessary to rebuild and enlarge the facilities.

Giuseppe Manafò of Toronto was then called and elected as Pastor in 1983. During this period the Lord continued to add to the church. God also gave the church the blessing of seeing a French and a Spanish group established. It was also a time of preparation and acquisition as the church with vision for the future expanded into the area of Television ministry and purchased additional properties around the church building in 1985 and 1994.

David Mortelliti is the present pastor of F.S.P.C. coming as assistant pastor in May of 1993 and elected Senior Pastor in May of 1995. Under his leadership the church is continuing to grow and expand the role of the lay leader, developing a clear vision and strategy for ministry of the church, focusing on the development of peoplefor the Kingdom of God with increased emphasis on the importance of discipleship and ministry leadership development.
